James Gunn Says ‘The Suicide Squad’ Is ‘The Ultimate All-Time Comic Book Movie’

James Gunn isn’t being shy about his praise for The Suicide Squad. Director Gunn told Jimmy Kimmel his upcoming reboot is “the ultimate all-time comic book movie”.
The Guardians of the Galaxy director says the movie is based on “one of my favorite books of all time” by comic writer John Ostrander.
The Suicide Squad is set to open August 6th, starring Margot Robbie, John Cena, Idris Elba, Viola Davis, and Sylvester Stallone.
