Lizzo Is Boosting Flute Sales

Flute sales have risen thanks to Lizzo. The Flute Center of New York, which is the largest flute specialty store in the nation, says they sell about 2,500 flutes a year, however, so far in 2019, their sales are up 30 percent.
Lizzo brought back the magic of the flute by incorporating it into her songs. Her BET performance of “Truth Hurts” has ignited many people to want to buy flutes and take flute lessons.
Lizzo currently has over 265,000 followers to her flute Instagram page, @sashabefluting. Flute playing has become so popular that the National Flute Association is calling for Lizzo to come to their next convention.
