Memorial Day Weekend is not all about partying and a day off from work. It’s about honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Here’s a complete list of area happenings!

Saturday May 25th 2019:

The 24th Annual Memorial Luminaria is happening at the Fredericksburg National Cemetery, 1013 Lafayette Blvd in Fredericksburg from 8-11pm.

There will be a service of Luminary at the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery, 1100 Washington Ave. in Fredericksburg starting at 6pm.

Monday May 26th 2019:

The Fredericksburg National Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony in Fredericksburg and the Spotsylvania National Military Park, 1013 Lafayette Blvd. will be holding a special event that will feature guest speakers from the military to honor those who have fallen. The event will take place starting at 12 noon.
