Michael Scott (Steve Carell) from The Office topped Breaking Bad meth kingpin Walter White (Bryan Cranston) over the weekend to win The Ringer’s March Madness-style Best TV Character of the 21st Century bracket.

Scott and White made the final round by defeating Arya Stark (Game of Thrones) and Ron Swanson (Parks and Recreation) in the Final Four, respectively. Rounding out the Elite Eight were Jesse Pinkman (Breaking Bad), Omar Little (The Wire), Tony Soprano (The Sopranos), and Dwight Schrute (The Office).
